In November of 2002, Chad Bonk travelled to Pretoria South Africa and met Albert Muleya and Oliver Matambo from Zambia. Over the next month, Chad travelled with Albert and Oliver from South Africa to the specific hard-hit regions of the Gwembe Valley.
